Erin & Kota

Today I’m sharing with you some photos of Erin and her beautiful horse Kota.

Kota is a 7 year old American Quarter Horse. One of the first things you’ll notice about Kota is her unusual coloring. She is what’s known as a Grulla, which I personally think is one of the prettiest colors for a horse, and is especially beautiful to watch as it changes shades with the seasons.

Erin rides Kota all over the streets of Norco and down to the river when it’s hot. What Erin loves most about Kota is her willingness to do a good job and her curiosity.

Hi! I'm Nuvea. I live in Southern California with my husband, three horses, four dogs and one cat, but can frequently be found restoring our tiny stone cottage and olive grove in Portugal.

  1. What beautiful girls! And you’ve captured them both so well.
That shot where Erin is lying back and Kota looking round as if to say “well, if you must!” is priceless. 🙂
